The nervous system is your body’s command center. It controls everything you think, feel, and do from moving your fingers, to feeling emotions, to regulating your heartbeat and digestion — often without you even realizing it.

Somatic work is a body-centered approach to healing and personal growth. This work focuses on the felt experience in the body rather than just thoughts or emotions.

The word “somatic”comes from the Greek word “soma,” meaning the body. Somatic practices recognize that the body stores memories, stress, trauma and emotions — often unconsciously.

Somatic work is a body-based approach to healing, growth & transformation that connects the mind, body & emotions. In a world wired for overwhelm, nervous system regulation isn’t a luxury, it’s a lifeline. Emotions live in the body until you learn to release them.
